CONCLUSIONS

The conclusions reached in Carballo from the results of the workshops, lectures, and evaluations highlighted the existence of two problems that were manifested in the Carballés context  and that of others.

This finding, stressed the need for action to address them both locally and at European level.

From this, the ideas in the future are intended to materialize in a project are:

Sports for teens.

– “Clinics”: The need for continuous training and retraining of professionals (trainers, monitors) working in the field of sport and leisure.

In particular, the need to learn to work with adolescents in any setting. Possibility to launch a Europe-wide project aimed at providing effective tools to work with this group.

Sport as an integrator.

– Promotion of social integration: In Carballo, there is a group at risk of social exclusion, and that does not participate in leisure and sports activities taking place in the community.

Xiria have got intend to realize an integration project through sport.
